Twinkling of an Eye

by BeLinda Magee

What are you thinking?
What are you sayng?
What are you doing?
Who are you influencing?

Life goes by
In the twinkling of an eye.
Ain’t got time
To find out why
That GOD gave us life
Not for envy, division, or strife.

Because HE is from above,

1 John Chapter 4, verses 7 & 8, says it so much better than my poetry can. Notwithstanding, fleeting moments of wasted time in our lives robs some of us of what is important truly.

Final Exam

by BeLinda Magee

All of GOD’S SERVANTS want a glowing report from HIM about what they have done on earth for the KINGDOM OF GOD. Their thoughts and actions will reflect that they have excelled in one area, to say the least. Maybe they are helping relatives and friends and neighbors. Their care and concern for humanitarian causes, or for animals might not be neglected as well.

Can the people of GOD be caught off guard with the cares of this world? My answer is perhaps.

Moreover, Matthew 24:42-46 implies the intent of one’s alertness to pass the GOOD LORD’S FINAL EXAMINATION.

In the Beginning …

Adam and Eve are being sent out of the garden ...

GOD created the first man named Adam,
GOD created the first woman named Eve,
They disobeyed GOD’S commands & orders,
They allowed the serpent to deceive.

Now look what they begin,
The world became full of sin.
What on earth could that mean?
GOD’S LOVE was still on the scene.

GOD sent the Saviour, JESUS!.

“I can forgive, but I cannot forget,” is only another way of saying, “I will not forgive.” A forgiveness ought to be like a cancelled note, torn in two and burned up, so that it can never be shown against the man.
Henry Ward Beecher

Forgiveness is not always applied in our daily walk in spiritual matters. The continuous struggle of flesh vs. Holy Spirit leads the Christian believer to his/her weaker side sometimes. That is to say the flesh is the weaker side. 2 Corinthians Chapter 5, verse 17 sums up that one becomes a new creature in Christ if one has become a part of Christ Jesus. However, when offenses arise, the tendency to forgive does not garner practical applications in our lives.

Heavenly Father, may we seek you more to walk in the newness of life to forgive and love one other as stated in your Holy Word in the name of JESUS. Amen.

Doing Good Things

by BeLinda Magee

In the Old Testament book of Genesis, Chapter 4, verses 6-7, the LORD speaks to Cain about his behavior. Cain is told that in doing good things, he will always stay on the right track. However, Cain is bent on not doing good things and thus Cain reaps negative consequences.

In the New Tesatment book of Ephesians, Chapter 6, verses 7-8, we can and will learn that one always reaps good things from doing good things because the LORD is at the helm and not man.

O that we might learn that the laws of sowing and reapiing work the same way in the spiritual sense as well as in the natural sense!
