SOME OLD TESTAMENT MIRACLES

Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed                                   Genesis 19:23-25

Lot’s wife turned to a pillar of salt                                    Genesis 19:15-17, 26

Isaac‘s birth                                                                     Genesis 18:6-13;21:1-3

Aaron’s rod changed into a serpent                                Exodus 7:8-12

The plagues of Egypt:
a. Waters in the river turned to blood                              Exodus 7:17-25
b. Frogs brought forth abundantly                                   Exodus 8:1-14
c. Lice throughout all Egypt                                             Exodus 8:16-18
d. Swarms of flies                                                            Exodus 8:21-24
e. Grievous murrain                                                         Exodus 9:1-7

“strange fire” before the LORD

of Israel when He heard them complain

The earth swallowed up rebellious Korah and                  Numbers 16:28-35
others and a fire and plague from the LORD

Aaron’s rod budded and blossomed                                 Numbers 17:3-10

Water from the rock smitten twice at Meribah                  Numbers 20:7-11

The serpent of brass when looked upon                           Numbers 21:4-9
made the children of Israel live, if bitten

The river Jordan stopped and the children of                    Joshua 3:14-17
Israel walk through on dry ground

The walls of Jericho fall down                                           Joshua 6:6-20

Sun and moon stand still                                                  Joshua 10:5-14

Samson’s great strength                                                  Judges 13:24;
Judges Chapters 14 – 16

The water flows from the hollow place                             Judges 15:16-19

The ARK OF GOD taken by Philistines and Dagon         1 Samuel 5:1-12
falls twice before the ARK and the Philistines
destroyed with emerods

The men of Beth-shemesh smitten for looking                 1 Samuel 6:13-20
into the ark

A thunderstorm created uncomfortableness                     1 Samuel 7:10-12
in the Philistines’ army

The thunder and rain in the wheat harvest                         1 Samuel 12:16-18

Uzzah struck dead for touching the ark                              2 Samuel 6:6-11

Jeroboam’s hand withered and his new altar                     1 Kings 13:1-6
destroyed

Elijah fed by ravens and the widow’s meal                           Kings 17:1-16
and oil increased by prophet Elijah

The widow’s son raised from the dead by                           1 Kings 17:17-24
prophet Elijah

Fire from heaven, and rain at the prayer                              1 Kings 18:21-46
of prophet Elijah

Prophet Elijah translated to heaven                                      2 Kings 2:9-14

Noah's sacrifice

And it came to pass that Noah appears,
Then followed the people’s jeers.

It took a long time coming,
There was a lot of humming,
Sounds of rain,
With it came the people’s pain.

Let me in! Let me in!
The Ark that Noah built with no other men.
Too late! Too late!
Noah and his family were the only eight.

The world will be destroyed no more by WATER,
Next time, by FIRE!
